11/28/2023 0 Comments Bite your thumbMy comment wasn't about weight of the person, it was about how that weight is applied and that way it's applied is to the roof of your mouth, which isn't a hinge with muscle, and therefore it proves nothing the jaw is strong when the jaw isn't being used significantly. You're not really lifting yourself with your jaw at all, the use it would have would be fairly minimal. That's about as much muscle as it takes to dangle by two arms. But even then, your teeth probably got you covered and could hold it in. So all the actual jaw muscles are doing is maybe helping to stabilize you. Unless you were saying you'd be grabbing onto the rope while upside down the rope would be pressing up against the roof of your mouth, up and AWAY from your jaw. The hinge and muscle of your jaw is at the bottom of your mouth. You ever see a picture of a human skull before? Well in case you haven't, here you go. I was saying that the way the jaw is made, the force is being applied to your upper mouth.
